So today marks a whole new chapter…
Today was my (Laura’s) last official day working for @actionforchildrenuk. I am not going to lie, I have had mixed emotions about what to do whilst on maternity leave. The juggle is hard at the best of times, but running the business with young children has been hard and to throw ‘work’ in the mix, I just couldn’t see how I’d manage it all. Silly I know. I enjoyed my job, I liked the routine, my colleagues and the challenge. But things have changed.
I have had anxieties as to what people would think…but I don’t know why?
I’m not not going back to ‘work’. This is now my work….and that is fine.
I am now Self Employed and I actually can’t wait to fully embrace this new chapter.
It’s all about the work life balance and some time away this week has been like a reset button. 2020 seems to be busy busy and with Treehouse number 3 on the horizon it’s going to be very exciting helping John to project manage, design and equip the space.
