Cadwollen’s – The Essentials
Cadwollen's Treehouse
A space of unique shape and style, hanging in the woods surrounded by nothing but the fields and hills of Powys. Cadwollen’s Treehouse invites you to live indoors and out at the same time. With a copper tub sitting in front of magnificent views through huge windows that stretch right up to the mezzanine double bedroom. If mere indoor bathing isn’t enough, wander out to the hot tub on its own extended deck and soak under clear night skies or the strings of fairy lights. There’s even an outdoor shower that makes just washing an exciting adventure.
For all the sophisticated waterworks, the treehouse has a rustic and relaxing feel to the decor and its surroundings. There’s a comfy sofa and a fully equipped kitchen in the spacious living area. As well as two hammocks to choose from, one in the treehouse and one slung underneath, near your private fire pit.
The TV has integrated Freesat so there is a wide variety of channels for guests to watch during their stay. 4G can be picked up on the decking outside and within the grounds. Please note we have no access to wifi due to the location.
With comfy chairs in the lounge, a huge hammock strung between the stilts, and of course, a bubbling hot tub on the deck.

With all the places to lie down, you might be forgiven for never getting up, but beauty and adventure await in the Welsh countryside. The Elan Valley with its spectacular dam and miles of superb hiking is nearby and the treehouse itself sits in a 900-acre SSSI. Climbing the big hill won’t take too long and gives you great views of everything around you. Closer to home, you can arrange to meet the lambs in season or just watch the red kites wheeling overhead.
